Chargeback

A cardholder may dispute a Transaction shown on his or her Credit Card statement and take the matter up with the card Issuer.
The card Issuer will issue a Chargeback notice to the retailer and debit their account.

If the cardholders complaint is valid and the Acquirer has been unable to substantiate the Transaction, the amount of the Transaction will be charged back to the retailer. Processing irregularities and incomplete documentation can also result in a Chargeback.
