Distance Selling Regulations

The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 are legal requirements that came into force in October 2000.

The regulations lay down minimum requirements for those selling at a distance to provide clear information before a sale, confirmation of orders and to provide a Cooling off period.
