Merchant Account

Merchant accounts are bank accounts that have been established with a payment processor for the settlement of Credit Card / Debit Card Transactions.

If you want to take payment using credit or Debit Cards you will need a Merchant Account. If these payments are to be taken online then you need a Cardholder Not Present Merchant Account.
